Yoga

I began my journey in yoga through various studios and gyms across New Jersey and Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I have found that yoga has been an empowering, enriching, and joyful experience for me and I have loved practicing it ever since. It has been a medium in which I could explore the connection between my breath and my movement, and improve the well being of my body, soul, and consciousness. I was inspired to become a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor through Om Factory NYC in July 2017. I hope to spread my knowledge and passion for health and fitness, anatomy and body alignment, and the importance of breath with movement with the yoga community. My goal is to help my clients and students better themselves by pushing themselves, reaching their goals, and improving their well being.

Pilates

Following my yoga certification, I became more intrigued by other somatic methods and wanted to expand my knowledge and experience. I obtained my Polestar Pilates Mat certification in August 2018 and currently pursuing my Polestar Pilates Reformer certification, which I anticipate completing by May 2019. I have been teaching Pilates mat classes at various gyms and studios, as well as working with clients one-on-one.

Fitness

I have always had a passion and natural inclination to athleticism, strength training, conditioning, and overall fitness. I became a certified NAFC Group Fitness Instructor in July 2018. I continue to teach fitness classes at various gyms and studios across New Jersey to a wide range of ages. I teach formats including bootcamp, cardio cross training, Piloxing, barre, and many others. I plan on pursuing my Personal training certification as well, as I love working with clients one-on-one.

Classes

My classes are all about strengthening, stabilizing, and alignment as well as having a fun, energizing flow. I work to properly warm up the body and stretch the various muscles of the body in order to best scaffold the asanas of the class. I hope to create a warm, welcoming, supportive environment for all the yogis to thrive in and have a fulfilling practice. I want all of the students in my class to feel stronger, more connected to themselves, and more uplifted after leaving my class.

Privates

Private sessions can be a great way for anyone to dig deeper into their movement practice and ability. Private instruction allows the sessions to better meet one’s needs and desires as an individual practitioner, and allows the instructor to provide more specific attention to the individual. I will work to help my clients with anything they are working on, whether it is recovering from an injury, overall strengthening and endurance, to deepening one’s own spiritual practice.

I want my students to feel more confident and see more possibilities within themselves after their practice. I tailor the lessons to fit each individuals’ needs to the best of my ability and help them reach their aspirations.
